Want to have as much fun as these people are having? Heirloom Harvest Earth Day celebration is this upcoming Sunday, April 22, from 8am to 5 pm. It’s going to be the first sunny Sunday of spring and our greenhouse is bursting with transplants that need to go out to the field. So we need your help in a big way.
Other Earth Day events include a demonstration at 12:30 pm for children and adults of what happens to our groundwater when pollution spills out of human activities on the landscape and sinks into the soil (see picture below). This is an interactive demonstration with kids encouraged to participate. So bring your kids and bring your lunch and learn about groundwater pollution.
